The Kingpin emergency bolt is suitable for use on final exit doors of buildings which are not used by the general public. When the handle is pulled, the’Kingpin’ breaks into two pieces, allowing the spring-loaded bolt to retract and thus to release the door. Both broken pieces remain attached to the bolt, thus eliminating any risk of injury or contamination. The door can, at all times, be used for non-emergency purposes by the key holder. The only CE marked tamper-resistant fire exit panic bolt. Body manufactured from robust die-cast aluminium with red powder coat finish, incorporating a 12mm plated steel bolt shoot (option available for stainless steel bolt for external use). Unique non-hazardous design guarantees no loose debris on emergency operation of bolt. Ideal for use in food preparation and clean room areas. Integral key lock feature – no additional padlock needed. Designed for use by trained personnel (non-members of the public).
