Rolex 16613 Submariner – Bi Metal – 18k Gold & Stainless Steel with the black dial and bezel insert. I have owned the watch as part of a collection for 7 years and feel it’s time for a change. It’s really special to find an example like this that really does have the full set. Not just box and papers as most people advertise, this watch has with it the original swing tags with matching serial number, the Rolex anchor in an unopened sleeve! Both the box and outer cardboard box, the leather wallet with both manuals and the cardholder with the original punched guarantee papers and the 1998/1999 calendar card. The watch has obviously been used but I think looks great for a watch of this vintage with a little patina. It would benefit from a light polish to bring the gold back to a nice deep shine but the case is still very sharp to suggest it has not seen anything other than a light polish in the past. When I bought the watch it had a small chip in the sapphire crystal at the 10 o’clock mark, this hasn’t bothered me as you only notice it if you look very closely but this could easily be replaced if you felt the need.
