The Metropolitan is a large wood burning, multi fuel stove that offers a maximum heat output of 15kw, with a nominal output of 10kw The unique style and design incorporates curved side pillars , a huge glass window and large lower log storage making this a truly unique stove design. Manufactured in Europe from high quality robust steel, the Metropolitan won’t / can’t crack, unlike it’s fragile cast iron competitors. Finished to a very high quality in dark charcoal grey, with clean contemporary lines, and brushed silver door handle, the Metropolitan provides an impressive focal point. The stylish design incorporates a huge firebox, which is complimented by an advanced air wash system that ensures the large ceramic glass window remains clean to provide a clear warming view of the fire within. The Metropolitan offers optimum control over the burn rate and temperature output through it’s primary and secondary air control vents. Additional features to this attractive high output stove include lower log storage compartment, upper warming shelf and a large removable ash pan for ease of cleaning. The advanced air wash system works by drawing cold air in through the bottom of the stove which then passes as warm air out through vents in the upper half. In addition the Metropolitan also incorporates secondary burn technology which further improves the efficiency and heat out put of the stove The firebox is fully lined with fire bricks to optimise the life and efficiency of the stove, and the multi fuel grate has the feature of being a riddling grate.
