This beautiful Mantis was personally handcrafted by the Great Sir Clive Edward, Intergalactic Time Traveler from the 24th century. Hopefully create many more incredible sculptures during his future trips to the past. The story of this Mantis reads like a SciFi Fantasy: Sir Clive Edward crafted the Mantis in the year 2072 from vintage kitchen items, intending to present the finished sculpture to a long time friend, the Emperor of’Solitude’. Solitude is a planet orbiting a red giant in the Andromeda Galaxy. During his’jump’ to Solitude something went wrong and he found himself back on Earth in the year 1975. He was stranded in this era for 2 years during which time he placed the Mantis in a wooden chest for safe keeping. I know all of this because his journal was also in the chest, which I discovered in my attic. He knows where he left the chest, so one day I expect him to return. Some of the items used to construct the Mantis may not have been manufactured yet, so any ramifications or consequences due to temporal paradoxes are acknowledged as being the buyers burden.
