Squeeze Defender Bird Spike Fixing Silicone along the base of the spike – about a 10 mm bead is recommended. Press the first row of spikes onto the leading edge of the ledge ensuring the glue oozes through the silicone fixing holes. The spikes can be snapped to length using your fingers to ensure every part of the ledge is covered. No extra tools are required. Further rows can be added behind this if the ledge is wider. Ensure any cavities behind the ledge are empty and have been blocked before work begins.
