Tabernacle Engraved Metal Stainless Steel. Tabernacle – a sacred vessel in which the Holy gifts are stored-the body and blood of Christ, used for communion. According to this purpose, it is the most sacred object in a Christian Church. Tabernacle are used in the worship of Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Anglican churches. In Orthodox churches, the Tabernacle is always kept in the altar on the throne. In Orthodox churches in the Middle East, a special place in the altar is provided for Tabernacle.
