These electric gate motors are high powered 230VAC unit for ease of install , set up and safety, with unique features such as:-Fully bushed centre spindle, bushed links, heavy duty bearing gate support/pivot. Limit switches at the correct angle you want the gate to stop at both open and closed ensures the motors are not strained when opened and closed. Maximum opening angle 110 degrees standard. Two manual release keys are provided to facilitate manual opening of the gates in the event of power failure (these can be operated from inside or outside the gates). When fitting underground motors you will need a minimum of 65mm from your gate hinge point to the post. Though a soak away may be adequate, we recommend that you drain the motor case to a drain or lower laying land where possible. All underground motors will operate underwater when new but if left submerged it is likely that water will enter the motor eventually. It is better to correctly drain the foundation cases from day one to protect your investment! Some fabrication/welding may me necessary to connect the drive shoe to your gates timber or steel.
