Its got quite a bit of bronze in the construction and it had at one point a mahogony back board which has been eaten away with woodworn when we found the machine so could not be saved sadly but fully restored it would look superb. The flywheel and cross bar a not the original but if extended would do, its a good few inches short at present but was bought many years back as the parts needed to construct a new one. The machine dates from 1850-60 best we know and its very similar in some regards to an old Holtzapffel that my father used to have and use. A good project for someone and never listed before.
